The Practitioner
Ratnaa Mehta
A practice built on study, restraint and long conversations. Ratnaa works with people at decision points — personal, spatial and commercial — and with the patterns that show up long before those decisions do.

Practice
Ratnaa's work sits between two traditions that rarely meet in one room: the classical Vedic sciences, and the plain, evidence-led way that modern professionals prefer to make decisions. She reads charts, land and rooms, and then says what she sees.
Clients include founders, families, architects and developers. Engagements range from a single reading to multi-year advisory relationships across a home, a business and the people inside both.
Her training moved in an unusual order. Classical jyotish came first, studied privately over years rather than through a certificate; Vastu followed, because charts kept pointing at rooms; and the healing disciplines — Theta, ancestral and belief work — arrived last, because rooms kept pointing back at people. What began as three separate studies eventually collapsed into one method.
That method is deliberately contemporary. Recommendations are non-structural wherever possible, written down, and small enough to be tested. Nothing is asked on faith, and any client is free to verify a finding against their own experience before acting on it.
There is no performance in the work. No prediction is sold, no urgency manufactured, and no client is ever named.
What she practises
Karmic astrology
Classical chart study, timing and cycle analysis.
Astro Vastu
Person-and-space alignment for homes, workplaces and land.
Subconscious work
Theta and ancestral practice for patterns that persist.
The path here
Three studies, taken up in an unusual order, that eventually collapsed into one method.
- Early yearsA childhood spent around ritual and observation, and an early habit of asking why a room felt the way it did.
- Classical studyYears of private study in Vedic astrology — chart construction, dasha systems, timing and rectification.
- Vastu practiceAstro Vastu taken up formally after repeated cases where a chart's difficulty was mirrored in a floor plan.
- Healing disciplinesTheta and ancestral healing added for the patterns that survived both a good chart reading and a corrected room.
- KHOJ todayOne integrated practice serving individuals, families, founders, architects and developers across India.
How she works
Four working habits that shape every engagement, whatever its size.
Privately
Charts and plans are studied alone, before anything is discussed. Nothing is improvised in the room.
In writing
Every engagement produces a written summary, so recommendations can be revisited months later.
Without urgency
No remedy is sold under pressure, and no timeline is manufactured to close a decision.
In confidence
No client, home or company is named — publicly or privately, during the work or after it.
